9th March 2014 // New Works

After several weeks of hard work, I finally, for the first time in a couple of years, have some new work! Initially I prepared small scale studies on paper to for compositional investigations for future work, which ranged from the themes and topics explored to crafting the scale and aspects of the landscape within the image. It was also an opportunity to experiment and develop my skills with a contrast in light/watery application of paint against heavy, textured application through the use of palette knives.
